My new favorite thing!
For the past few weeks I have been working out with one of my friends, Sarah. She has been in our community group for 2 years now! Her husband has recently gone into the army national guard. Before he left, he began doing a program called crossfit! This was an intense training program to get him into shape before he went to Basic training camp. Apparently he was one of the more "in shape" guys when he got there! All that to say, I have been working out in Sarah's garage with her for a few weeks now doing crossfit! It is definitely intense, you can work out for 15 min and your lungs will absolutely be burning. It feels amazing though! It has been so much fun to start working out again. I haven't been able to workout for about a year now, due to the back surgery, lack of gym and sidewalks. Now that we have moved, I have access to more of these things! Since I am definitely the largest I have ever been, it feels great to TRY to get back in shape.

Here is what I did last Thursday: Its called filthy 50
50 Box jump, 24 inch box, 50 Jumping pull-ups, 50 Kettlebell swings, 50 Lunges, 50 steps, 50 Knees to elbows, 50 Push press, 50 Back extensions, 50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball, 50 Burpees (these are killers), 50 Double unders.
See what I mean- INTENSE! But i love it!
Everyday they put a new workout on there and that is what we go by. Sarah is a great trainer, great friend, and I am very thankful for her for her willingness to work with me!
