Books, Books, Books

It seems I have been loving me some books lately. Which is a rare thing for me. I'm not one to love books, but in the past month I have read a total of 2. Seriously that is record breaking. I usually complete 2 in a whole year.

So if you are a reader you will appreciate this post, if not, I'm sorry, maybe you will like these if I liked them!

First of all my community group girls just finished up Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. We all seemed to really enjoy this book. I will be honest, I did this book in college with a group, but did not really appreciate it. I think now that I'm in a different stage of life, it was much more applicable. I liked it way more and would highly suggest it if you are looking for a book to do!
In our community group now, we are reading For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn. We are liking this one so far. It is very intriguing I would say. I will let you more know after we complete it.

So on to the books I completed this month.
The first was was:

Yes, it says Heaven for Kids, and NO I did not mean to post Heaven for adults! I intentionally read this one because someone said it was much easier to understand. The book presented all those questions that you want to ask, but would feel so stupid asking. This book was simply amazing. It made me so stinkin excited to go to Heaven someday and it made me want to tell others, because I wouldn't want someone to miss out on something so divine. the New Earth will be incredible!

Here are some exciting verses about Heaven from:
Revelation
-4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
-5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
-LUKE 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

This book would be great for ages 10yrs- Adult!

The second book I completed this month was Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. It too was extraordinary. It is about a rich art dealer and slave trader becoming friends and making a difference in the Kingdom. How they came to know each other is an amazing story and God is revealed in both of their lives through interesting ways. I HIGHLY recommend this if you are looking for a great, moving story and easy read.
