Redneck Sleep Number

I'm sure most of you have seen advertisements for the "Sleep Number" beds, and how absolutely amazing they look! I think it would awesome to have one.
See, Marc and I disagree on the softness of our bed. I would prefer sleeping on a cloud and Marc would prefer sleeping on a brick. But since I have 4 medal rods in my back, that always trumps him and I automatically win that battle.

So the other day he was having major back/neck problems and decided he needed a more firm bed and wanted to see if that would help. Well I decided I just couldn't sllep like that all night because my back kept locking up.
So this was our solution :)
I folded the topper over to just my side and it was AMAZING!!

I know it looks so redneck, but its the best thing i've ever slept on and we haven't changed it back yet! But I'm one happy redneck sleeper!

Even Barbie...

Even Barbie can get pregnant.... WOW.

I mean seriously. How messed up is this world?
Someone actually pinned this on Pinterest the other day and I just had to laugh about it. I couldn't believe EVEN Barbie can have a baby and I can't.

This really does make me laugh. You have to find the laughter in an unfortunate situations... right? !?

Literally

Marc showed me this video the other day and I think it's hilarious! People use real music videos and re-record it by singing what is literally going on.
Just watch it.

This one here is my fave because it is so weird and hilarious! It is also a song that was done at my U of A freshman orientation. Anyone remember the skit "Turn Around?" it was about drugs and drinking and such. Probably one of my favorite memories of college that will never be forgotten, thanks to this song!

There is another one done to a creed vidoe which is also pretty good!
Enjoy and Happy Tuesday!

Just for Fun

I work at a church and I got this in my email last week and thought it was too hilarious not to share. I also attend the weekly communication meetings, which is where we decide what goes into our "bulletin" or "communicator."
So this makes me really laugh!

From Real Church Bulletins...

1. Bertha Belch, a missionary from Africa, will be speaking tonight at Calvary Methodist. Come hear Bertha Belch all the way from Africa.

2. Announcement in a church bulletin for a national PRAYER & FASTING Conference: "The cost for attending the Fasting & Prayer Conference includes meals.

3. The sermon this morning: "Jesus Walks on the Water." The sermon tonight: "Searching for Jesus”

4. Our youth basketball team is back in action Wednesday at 8 PM in the recreation hall - Come out and watch us kill Christ the King.

5. Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Don't forget your husbands.

6. The peacemaking meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled due to a conflict.

7. Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our community. Smile at someone who is hard to love. Say "Hell" to someone who doesn't care much about you.

8. Don't let worry kill you off - let the Church help.

9. Miss Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again," giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.

10. For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

11. Next Thursday there will be try outs for the choir. They need all the help they can get.

12. Barbara remains in the hospital and needs blood donors for more transfusions. She is also having trouble sleeping and requests tapes of Pastor Jack's sermons.

13. The Rector will preach his farewell message after which the choir will sing: " Break Forth Into Joy."

14. Irving Benson and Jessie Carter were married on October 24 in the church. So ends a friendship that began in their school days.

15. A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.

16. At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be "What Is Hell?" Come early and listen to our choir practice.

17. Eight new choir robes are currently needed due to the addition of several new members and to the deterioration of some older ones.

18. Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children.

19. Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.

20. Attend and you will hear an excellent speaker and heave a healthy lunch.

21. The church will host an evening of fine dining, super entertainment and gracious hostility.

22. Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 PM - prayer and medication to follow.

23. The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind. They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon.

24. This evening at 7 PM there will be a hymn sing in the park across from the Church. Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin.

25. Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday morning at 10 AM. All ladies are invited to lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the B.S. is done.

26. The pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the congregation would lend him their electric girdles for the pancake breakfast next Sunday.

27. Low Self Esteem Support Group will meet Thursday at 7 PM. Please use the back door.

28. The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.

29. Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Please use large double door at the side entrance.

30. The Associate Minister unveiled the church's new tithing campaign slogan last Sunday:
"I Upped My Pledge ! - Up Yours!"

I hope you enjoyed these as much as me. I think 1 and 29 are two of my faves. Which ones are your favorites?
Happy Monday!

For Laughs

Well since my last post was so sad and the past week was so heavy, I felt the need to post something fun and something to laugh at.

Yesterday, I needed to go to the grocery store because I clearly had not been in forever and simply because I plan on cooking my hubby some meals this next week! Get excited hunny. I have starved my poor hubbie the past few months. That is all way off the subject... sorry i must have some a.d.d. today.
While I was looking for a parking spot, I saw some "business in the front and a party in the back." And by that I mean, big time MULLET!
I was thinking to myself! Wow I just got to see one those "people from walmart."
I thought, well this is definitely tweetable, but I definitely can't drive by him again, roll down my window and take a picture. So as I was walking by, he turned his head and I already had my phone out and I just snapped a pic! I can't believe I did that, it was just too good to be true! I seriously didn't know those mullet things were still happening. I thought those were so back in the 90's. Anyways, I was pumped and it made me laugh, and well I needed to laugh! I can't believe I was brave enough to do it.
If you have never checked out this website, you should go right this minute for some more laughs.... http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/. Its pretty amazing! Believe it or not, there are not that many people on there from Arkansas, I know...shocker!
Enjoy!
